Nakoso IGCC established the new record of its continuous operation, 2238hours

IGCC had continued its operation since August 10th, and halted on November 11th for the repair of auxiliary part of the system as well as temporary inspection.

The duration time of continuous operation amounts to three months, that is 2238 hours, which surpasses the previous record of 2039 hours established in 2008 summer by about 200 hours.

We think it is worthwhile because this record verified the high reliability of the IGCC even after the swift and large–scale restoration work to the damages inflicted by March 11th disastrous Earthquake and following Tsunami.

We would resume its operation in late of this November to contribute to this winter peak demand supply as well as to challenge the new subjects for the demonstration tests.
